Kabita Fruits Processing Industry was established in 2057 BS in Dhankuta and has been continually operational since then. Under the leadership of Bishnu Maya Kandangwa (Rai), the industry has made significant strides in the processing of local agricultural products. Over the years, Kabita Fruits has achieved the following milestones:

  1. National Best Entrepreneur Award in 2066 BS.
  2. Recognized as an Outstanding Female Entrepreneur by the Government of Nepal in 2069 BS.
  3. Honored by the Ministry of Social Development, Koshi Province in 2080 BS.
  4. Awarded more than a dozen recognitions from district and local bodies.
